Attributes Readings (#6): The Holiness of God

WORSHIP LEADER: We believe that the Lord is holy, utterly set apart, pure, and perfect in all His ways.

CONGREGATION: Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of His glory. (Isaiah 6:3)

WORSHIP LEADER: God’s holiness reveals His majesty and power, for no darkness dwells in Him.

CONGREGATION: Who is like You- majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders? (Exodus 15:11)

WORSHIP LEADER: The holiness of God exposes sin and calls all people to repentance.

CONGREGATION: Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness; tremble before Him, all the earth. (Psalm 96:9)

WORSHIP LEADER: Yet His holiness is not distant, for God has chosen to sanctify His people and make them His dwelling place.

CONGREGATION: You are to be holy to Me because I, the Lord, am holy, and I have set you apart from the nations to be My own. (Leviticus 20:26)

WORSHIP LEADER: In Christ, we are called to be perfected in love, reflecting God’s holiness in all we do.

CONGREGATION: Just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.” (1 Peter 1:15–16)
