Attributes of God Readings (#2): Immutability

WORSHIP LEADER: Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change (Jam. 1:17).

CONGREGATION: You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are the work of your hands; they will perish, but you remain… (Heb. 1:10-11a, Psa. 102: 25-26a).

WORSHIP LEADER: … they will all wear out like a garment, like a robe you will roll them up, like a garment they will be changed. But you are the same, and your years will have no end (Heb. 1:11b-12, Psa. 102:26b-27).

CONGREGATION: Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever (Heb. 13:8).

WORSHIP LEADER: The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold (Psa. 18:2).

CONGREGATION: The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of his heart to all generations. (Psa. 33:11)

EVERYONE: Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting! Amen and Amen(Psa. 41:13).
