Attributes Readings (#4): The Justice of God

WORSHIP LEADER: We believe that the Lord is perfectly righteous in all His ways, and that His justice flows from His holy character.

CONGREGATION: The Rock, His work is perfect, for all His ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and upright is He. (Deuteronomy 32:4)

WORSHIP LEADER: God shows no favoritism, but judges all people according to truth.

CONGREGATION: He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in His truth. (Psalm 96:13)

WORSHIP LEADER: The Lord establishes justice among the nations, bringing down the proud and upholding what is right.

CONGREGATION: Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; steadfast love and faithfulness go before You. (Psalm 89:14)

WORSHIP LEADER: His justice requires holiness from His people, that we walk in integrity and uprightness.

CONGREGATION: Keep justice, and do righteousness, for soon My salvation will come, and My deliverance be revealed. (Isaiah 56:1)

WORSHIP LEADER: All deeds will be weighed by the Lord, for His judgment is sure and impartial.

CONGREGATION: For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil. (Ecclesiastes 12:14)

WORSHIP LEADER: We are called, then, to pursue justice, to honor the Lord by walking in His ways.

CONGREGATION: Let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream! (Amos 5:24)
